What are "Stock Photos" and can I use "Stock Photos" in my submissions?

For anyone who always ask...
Location: Weissenbach ( Upper Austria)

Photographer: my partner ( I would die trying to find a place for a tripod at a mountain river shore if I would choose to take pictures alone)
Outfit: regulat ONLY dress customised by me ( I did the hood, belt and gloves which don't see well lol) Sorry for my shoes but you can hardly go there without mountain boots)
